"OH MY GOD, DON’T TELL ME THE BOOK IS OVER ALREADY!!" That was my first reaction after finishing Catching Fire. Chapter after chapter, Suzanne Collins made the book more and more interesting, with some frustrating but engrossing cliff-hangers. It’s a wonder I could actually control myself from reading it again and again, after finishing. I just didn’t want the book to get over! There was adventure, excitement, thrill, anticipation, romance and everything else you might wish a good book to have.

In Catching Fire, we get to know slightly more about Gale, though the main story revolved around Katniss and Peeta. There were several breath-taking twists and turns in the book which were sooooo not expected. I was excited out of my mind to know what’s gonna happen next. I don’t think the book description given for this book, describes even 1/4th of the actual story. It’s like going into a small ice-cream parlor and instead finding yourself in a whole new ice-cream world. :P

I found Catching Fire to be much less violent than The Hunger Games. In all other aspects, Catching Fire WAS somewhat better than the previous book, and that’s really saying something because The Hunger Games was ah-mazing.

Once again, Suzanne Collins showed that she can kick-ass when it comes to writing! I really, really wish I could give this book more than 5 stars because it deserves so much more! So here’s what I’m gonna do, I’ll give this book 5 golden stars along with some of my favourite chocolates and since Catching Fire can’t really consume it, I’ll have the latter on its behalf. Yes, yes I know I’m so awesome. B|
